Dear all digital gurusI look for a CD player that will be able to match my current system:-
- Integrated amp: NAD C372
- Loudspeaker: Acarian ALON I
- Interconnect cable: Silver lace
- Speaker cable: Discovery 1-2-3I like female vocal, Jazz, and orchestra. And My room is a bit damped.
Which CD players should I put in my audition list?

you could even try the 521ibee...its good for the money.
Well, aside from the expected Tosh recommendations, and since you don't mention a price range, here are a couple I would have an ear to, if you can.Music Hall (25 cd?)
NAD (BEE 21 cd player?)
Rotel (1072?)
ArcamAnother viable option would be to consider an external DAC, (Scott Nixon, ART DIO, other 2nd hand goodies) to whatever source you currently use, and see if that takes you in the right direction.
Good luck,
I know, it's been beat to death here, but I don't use my $2K Sony XA777ES to play CDs any more 'cause the Toshiba -- unmodified at that - sounds better.
just bought one of these at Crutchfield for $85 delivered. Has a nicer display and does DVD audio. Out of the box it sounds Jaw-droppingly good. I can't wait til it burns in. Also, in my opinion this model looks like a much more expensive player, although it doesn't feel like one,-weight wise.think of it as a cd player which just happens to play DVD's.
