Could the be dependent upon the source of your subscription?
My prior subscription provider for Stereophile was excellent about sending my physical copies, and always sent me an email reminder when the digital copy was ready. At some point, they apparently lost their rights to offer Stereophile, and my subscription was cut short for the physical mag - though I still had access to the digital copy during a brief gap in subscriptions.
Oddly? That previous provider still sends me links to digital versions of other magazines I had subscriptions to, and have not re-subscribed.
p.s.: I must certainly hope to continue my physical subscription to Stereophile. I'll bitch & moan about pricing sometimes, and may let it lapse now and again searching for the best deal - but I'll keep reading.

wonder how they were able to bundle the digital magazine with the print
edition. Was it the Apple or Zinio version? (These are the only authorized
Stereophile digital editions.) Or was it in plain pdf format? If the latter,
then that would have been a pirated version.> I must certainly hope to continue my physical subscription to

My digital access was via the Zinio version.

Thanks. I guess the third-party distributor must have done a deal with
Zinio.

Just logged in to the email account I use for things I don't much want to be "spammed" by.
I have 82 messages from zinio@discover.zinio.com either asking me to renew, or saying I haven't recently logged in to digital magazines.
Many are/were for magazines I've never looked at or had interest in.
So... I'd say - Stereophile and/or many other mags are probably having their digital subs sold out without their knowledge.
Stereophile is also available through an app called Readly. It costs about 10.00 a month and features over 1000 titles including many classical music publications, particularly from the U.K.
I've subscribed to the print edition of Stereophile since the early 80's and will continue to do so but sometimes, it is nice to have a digital edition available.

I am intrigued by this service. I have looked at the site, and found several publications that I may be interested in. I have asked my family to do the same.
If I subscribe from the US, can I access magazines from around the world, or am I limited to the US ?
I understand the site is formated for ipad/kindle/mobile devices. How do magazines render on a laptop or desktop monitor ?
Thanks !
Hello,
I live in the U.S. as well and have full access to all the magazines no matter their origin. There is at least one German high end publication available.
I use Readly on my Kindle Fire and have no experience on a desktop, unfortunately. It really is a great bargain.
