. . . that the employee can be fired "at the will of the employer"? I know all my employment contracts read that way. Apparently no such wording in Levine's contract? If so, pretty stupid on the part of the Met. OTOH, maybe $3.5 million is not such a big a deal to the Met management. They can just ask Toll Brothers for some more cash! ;-)
But then, when the employers exercise such will to end the relationship before scheduled, they must pay in re any breach of contract.
