Stupid problem of the day: one of the RCA jacks on my CD player is not making good contact with the center pin of the cable. Short of replacing the jack, is there a quick fix? I basically need to bend the tabs that line the receptacle back in.Thanks,

That is what you need to do, bend it in. I either use my fingers if the material is soft or a small pair of pliers to GENTLY bend inwards. It does not take a lot to fix it.
