Any favorite quality heat shrink you likey?
Looking for something thick and rubbery. Tired of the cheap plastic China stuff off Ebay.

You will get a thicker Heat Shrink (HS) if you use the dual-wall type. Also, the less it actually shrinks, the thicker the layer will be, so sizing the Heat Shrink carefully will help.
It may not matter ... if your signal carrying wires are far enough away from your heat shrink layer ... but the thinner the HS, the less capacitance it will add to the cable. If it's a short distance it won't matter much but if you are using HS to enclose cable over any significant distance it's a potential issue.
3M heat shrink tube is good. Heavy and more "rubbery" than plastic like.
Partsexpress.com has a good selection.

I like the Wire Care outfit. Really fast shipping, decent prices. I usually order the adhesive lined stuff in 3:1 ratio. They also have a heat shrink fabric tubing which gives an interesting retroish look.
