Its all about synergy and personal impressions. I recently compared the Cabledyne Reference to the Vanguard interconnects and the RCA Vanguards are clearly better (smoother and better stage). Low mass Furutech RCAs are used instead of the silver Xhadow plugs used in the Reference. Also the wire and geometry is different. Ed Bowman (Cabledyne) said it was time to upgrade the Reference line after 4 years and it appears that the Vanguard is a success. When I get the bucks I may opt for their Virtuoso signature cables.

Thanks again.
I'm more then willing to give them a try before making my final decision before years end, as I've narrowed it down to three brands and shall invest accordingly........., as I once again, don't wish to go through this in less then another 4-7 years down the road, as I'm not the sort whom changes things in my system just because and tend to do things long term.
In the end, this urge too shall pass.
Sounds like you have everything worked out...
It doesn't take long to get a feel for ones options, as it merely comes down to what one wishes to spend?, and since my budget is $800 max, it then becomes a matter of looking into what reputable cable companies offer?, as I'm beyond the DIY types of cable makers, and actually would prefer something more polished in the end.
Thanks again for chiming in.
Be well PingPing.
