I write to obtain reaction to the contrast between these two speaker cables. Both sets of cables are what I believe is called internal bi-wire--one cable per side, two connectors at the power amp end and four at the speaker end. All have banana connectors. The Kimbers have the blue and black insulation.
I know what I think I am hearing as a contrast, but am interested in comparing my impressions with others of you who know these two cables well.
Many thanks,
George

an update- George?
George-
if you liked the Rocket 33, then, you will enjoy the Rocket 88 cables.
George....connect with ClearDay Cables....he'll even send you some to audition for free.
I love Kimber 8TC. It is very revealing.
What are your impressions?
Well, I was hoping to get some "cold" reactions, but none have been forthcoming, so I will respond to your inquiry.
I prefer the sound from the Kimber Kables. I find it much more detailed and clear. The AudioQuest cables provide what I might call a more blended-together sound. It is round, pleasant, unobjectionable and lacking in the detail I find in the Kimbers.
Best,
George
What you describe is what I hear between any Audioquest speaker cables and Kimber cables I had chance to use.
Some AQs I would even call constipated (but not as dull, boring and un-involving like Cardas). If you like one, you probably wont like other, whichever way you go.

Thanks! for sharing- George.
Although I haven't auditioned those specific AQ cables, your impressions mirror my own with respect to the 8TC vs the 3 or 4 AQ's I have auditioned. I really enjoy the clarity from the Kimber.
