My friend has a pair of Rythmiks and they're hooked up line level via Blue Jeans IC's. Works quite well for him. You can also experiment with a speaker level set up using inexpensive speaker wire for starters. I've used MonoPrice speaker wire in this app and it works just fine.

Thanks for the reply Micke. I was looking at blue jeans as well. Was curious if anyone has compared them to audioquest. All the rest of my interconnects are audioquest btw. The RCA as well as speaker cables are AQ.
Duster's suggestions are solid if you choose stay in the AQ camp.
Thanks Micke and Duster. So my amp as variable line out and then my sub has line in. But on the subwoofer cables that im seeing they are just one two sided RCA cable. How do i connect L and R channels in that case? use Y splitters on both sides?
If the Rythmik has binding posts to accept speaker level hook-ups , I'd give that a shot.
In addition in regard to line level hook-up..when I had a pre-amp with a single pre or sub out, I used an Audioquest "Y" adapter to send the signal to both power amp and sub. Worked just fine.
Not to confuse....I should have stated "single pair ( L & R ) " sub or pre outs. I think I've only seen single RCA outs on various AV components.
If you are using a preamplifier with two sets of stereo rca outputs, one set into a stereo power amplifier, and second set into a subwoofer with both left and right channel inputs, then you'll need a stereo pair of rca interconnects, like your main power amplifier would require.
Thanks Duster. I use the Hegel H160 integrated amp. It has one LR line out(Variable) and then I want to feed it to the amp on sub but then al the sub woofer interconnects I see are single shielded cable. Should I use Y Splitter on both sides in that case?
Since the Hegel H160 is an integrated amp, you only require one set of stereo interconnects in order to connect the variable stereo outputs to the subwoofer. If the subwoofer has only a single rca input, you will either need a Y-adapter or splitter at one end or the other. If so, I would recommend running a stereo pair of interconnects from the variable line-level outputs of the Hegel H160 integrated amp, and then use a splitter/joiner at the subwoofer end in order to keep the stereo signal intact until it's joined at the subwoofer end of things. This method would provide better overall signal integrity for a stronger bottom-end, IMO.
There are a number of options available based on your particular requirements, but if you are pleased with your AudioQuest cables, I suggest taking a look at the four AudioQuest single-ended rca subwoofer interconnect cables. If you buy from a seller who offers right of return, choose the one that you can best afford, or try a number of them and keep the one that sounds best in your system. If you would like to try a high-level (speaker-level) interface, you might try an AudioQuest speaker cable or two while you are at it. Otherwise, I would need to know more information about what you might seek, including the required length, and budget level.
