I am currently using a pr of Blue Jean spkr cables that I'm happy with. I recently bought two pairs of AntiCable Reference Level-3 cables, price was too good to pass up. (Have not arrived yet). My speaker are singlewire. My question is this: Has anybody ran two different spkr cables together? In my case, the Blue-Jean and Anti-Cables. Of course, I will listen to both separately first. I may even shotgun the two pairs of the AntiCables, as well. Thanks for your thoughts or opinions!! Harley

You can't hurt anything by trying your scheme of using 2 different wires, but they probably sound different and might "fight" each other's assets. Shotgunning speaker cables provide twice as much copper (or silver) allowing more signal to transfer easier. I shot gun (and biwire) with excellent results.
... it can work but will really depend on your speakers crossover points and the crossovers. Try it and let us know the results :)
... personally, I prefer a quality single run of speaker cable :)
... I should add that using 2 different SCs, in parallel, will in itself display/provide a crossover effect but sometimes this effect can be good but sometimes not but the crossover effect is the reason :)

Dude, Prepare to be blown away by the Anti's. I haven't heard them but my view on the wire, cable thing makes it a near certainty, IMO, due to it's construction and better quality cu. (I'm pretty sure) that the blue geans would only contaminate the anti's. The anti's are a total of 9awg, that's quite a bit of metal. Solid core instead of stranded. A good thing. Tweaker
I've never come across any end user report that indicates a double run other than via the same make/model speaker cable is beneficial. A double run of different make/model speaker cables is so unpredictable, and so fraught with potential sonic artifacts due to different LCR and cable reactance characteristics, it's difficult to even say it might be a worthwhile experiment to consider.
I highly recommend you try Clear Day speaker cables. Call Paul at Clear Day, he will make a recommendation on cable for your particular system. These are thin solid core silver cables that blow away cables costing much much more. Paul's a great guy and will send you a set to audition.
