So I hear for the best results with my Merlin TSM Black Magic Speakers is to use Cardas Clear (Light) Speaker Cables. But wow, are they expensive. Currently using some 16 awg solid core silver wire by TempoElectric. I see on EBay that I can get them at better pricing from Asia sellers (Tiawan and China). Would this be a mistake to buy from them??? Thank you in advance.

Guys, thanks for the inputs. Glad I asked before doing something stupid.
For those wondering what custom? I asked for the original type Cardas RCA,(with the spring around the inner clips, to keep them tight) instead of the less 'aggressive' ones on the regular Parsec. Cardas and "The Cable Co" were very helpful and Cardas made them up special for only a small added fee. Direct from the factory in Oregon.
I found the regular Cardas Parsec to be a little loose on the Bryston equipment RCA, The Bryston RCA on the back must be the smallest diameter I ever saw. Most IC do not fit tightly on the Bryston gear
Cardas is located on USA West Coast (Oregon I think)
Anything sold from China or Taiwan is going to be a fake. And they may look like a Cardas cable, but they certainly are fake, and may use any sort of wire inside.
Instead, go to Home Depot, buy the house brand cables on the audio knickknack wall. take them home and handwrite "Cardas" on them with a small magic marker. they will be the same quality as you fake 'Cardas'.

Stick w/ the suggestions for Cardas. Buying anything from china is a risk.
