I've been trying quite a few USB cables this last couple of years, culminating in the WireWorld Platinum (see my review link for the others I've tried).
There has been lots of buzz about dual conduit USB cables (Acoustic Revive, YFS, Revelation, iFi Gemini, Light Harmonic) so I thought I'd try that approach.
I bought a used Revelation Audio Labs dual conduit USB cable at a decent price and swapped out the WW Platinum.
I did indeed find the RAL to be a better cable. It did not shame the WW, but there was an improvement in the overall focus, with images being more solid, more body.
Not day and night, but worthwhile.
The cables themselves are nicely made but fairly stiff; not the worst I've had, but in tight spaces it may be difficult to get the cable positioned.
It must be mentioned that dealing directly with RAL has been a painful experience for some. I might hesitate to buy a new cable for that reason, but used they offer very good sound for the $.

I bought one of his umbillical power cables to use between my Wadia 171i and the CIA VDC 9.0 which powers it in mid 2011. I too was hesitant due to negative comments ( those I found were 2008-2009), but I took a chance and could not have been happier with Brad, his product and his service. I left a message on a Monday nite and he called back Tuesday and I ordered the cable(which he had to make up as it was a custom length), I made mention that I would be out of reach the next day as my daughter was getting tubes in her ears. When I got home Wednesday there was an email waiting, confirming that the cable was done and already shipped USPS Priority with tracking number. There was also a 2nd email inquiring as to how everything went with my daughter, which meant much more to me than the cable. I received the cable Friday (Fla to Pa). The cable definitely does it's job, reinserting the stock cable that came with the CIA 9.0 causes the soundstage to shrink in width and depth. The presentation is also a bit thinner overall.
to have options.
The Revelation Audio Labs dual conduit USB cable has a lot going for it.
Separate DC cabling and solid core silver digital signal conductors.
Nice.
(cryo treated, Teflon/air dielectric, silver conductors) and doesn't cost a ton used. Along with my newly acquired Wywires Platinum SCs the sound is really amazing.
Rather than USB, I use the digital optical output from my Apple iMac into a Monarchy Audio DIP (Digital Interface Processor).
Total electrical isolation with a re-clocked and otherwise optimized 75 ohm interface via digital coaxial cable, plugged into a conventional 75 ohm digital input DAC.
which features XMOS conversion, dual oscillators and galvanic isolation. I use it with both my DACS. I find even with Async USB, which I have in both my Yulong DA8 (Sabre) and NAD M51, it still sounds better with the MF in place in all cases.
