I recently purchased a DAC and when it comes in they offer the cables at a fairly steep discount. (ahem)
Anyway - they have both of these cables maybe $120 for 1m the Mission and $180 or around there for the Event.
Thanks,

I don't think you have to buy the most expensive cable, but you have nice quality gear from Line Magnetic if I'm not mistaken. Why not hear it at its best? You shouldnt bother with those cheaper power cords from Zu audio whos specialty is speakers not cables. Take a look at Triode wire Labs.....Triodewirelabs.com Very nice Power Cords as well as speaker cables.
Zu was more known for their cables back in the day over their speakers if memory serves.
Thanks for the info on the Triode wire but interestingly the Zu Event costs more than the Triode Wire - $599 for 1.5 meter of Zu Audio "Event".
Triode's best wire on their website is $499 for 5 feet.
I think I'll skip the Zu Audio - seems they do weird things with their price changing and blowouts which undercuts their resale value dramatically. I was interested largely only because of the $600 retail price being offered for a discount. And I should remind myself that "a deal is only a deal if you want the thing in the first place."
Since I use Audio Note speaker and IC silver cables I will instead look at their power cables first to make it a match. Audio Note and their affordable copper ISIS power cable won power cable of the year here in Hong Kong so understandably I will look there first.
Sean, over on Zu, was heavily involved with Kimber Kable at one time.
Oh yeah....seeing you already have AN cables, you should look there first...but don't underestimate the Triode Wire Labs....thats some excellent stuff and would be more if he sold through retailers. Another to consider is Cable Research Labs.....also some excellent cables. http://cableresearchlab.com/
