If you mean the Oyaide cable lacks PRAT or sounds plodding in some manner, I don't find that to be the case. Perhaps you've read a report in another forum that mentions an incredible comparison to a very different type of cable. However, if you seek a fast sounding cable with a lighter touch than the Oyaide cable but with plentiful macro/micro dynamics, seriously consider the new solid core pure OCC silver VH Audio Pulsar Ag digital cable. It's perhaps the most transparent sounding cable I've ever experienced. See link:

...the Pulsar Ag with the Pulsar Cu, and if so, how would you characterize them on their own and in relation to each other? I am considering trying a Pulsar Cu as a digital cable from transport to DAC. Then there is the matter of optimum cable length for the best sonics...
The two Pulsars may share the same VH Audio house sound, but the silver Pulsar Ag simply sounds like a higher performance cable, as silver digital cables are often considered compared to copper digital cables. However, it's not just the metallurgy that's different, the Cu features a smaller cross section center conductor with a solid Teflon dielectric, while the Ag features a foamed/cellular Teflon dielectric and a larger center conductor. As for length, the Pulsar Cu is best selected as a 1.5m digital cable, while the Pulsar Ag is fine as short as 0.5m or as a 1.5m length cable, in my experience. See reviews:
