I have the sp3 speaker cables as well as the sp4 cables and ma4 ic's. I think they are great and with the money back offer they are a slam dunk. Give them a while( at leats 200 hours) to break in and I think you will be VERY happy with the results.
Yes, I saw the offer too. 50% off and 60 day trial, it's difficult to see how you can go wrong. It's good to see companies that do offer an audition, it means they have confidence in their product. I would welcome other feedaback from Morrow users.
Yes I have and they're very good imo
thanks for repling, do you still own them and how would you describe the sound?
Yes I still own them
I would say they are very fast and dynamic sounding speaker cables
To my ears they're very musical and get the tone right
I also own some of Morrow pc and they're very good as well
Cables came in yesterday i must admit right out of the box its a great sounding cable it gets the music right, Morrow says 200-300 break in for optimal results but with 60 days to do it cant complain, but from what i can tell so far the big boys better watch out. imop anti-cables are nice for the money but in my set up there was a nasty upper midrange glare and something keeping that last bit of music from comming through, audioquest cv 6 nice but still something missing not so with these, but only 15hrs into the break in so ill touh back later.
Kindly post your impressions after the break in period. I'd like to know if the mid range glare you refer to with Anti Cables returns. Both are made from magnat wire. Thanks.
Just wanted to comment on the Morrow cables, out of the box you get a good taste of what to wait for the highs are a good indication of whats to come , then as discribed in the break in paper they get shrill thin and you want your money back lol! well this occours 50 to 60 hours in to the break in process when it begins to come out of this phase you pay attention to whats going on in the midrange the musicality of these cables is unreal from strings on stand up bass to violins the texture is unerving at times keep in mind this was a 3000 hour breakin process not for those who want instant gratification , as of now there is a breakin service for the cables that only takes two days. well after the 300 hours of torture and pink noise for 23 hours a day,i must admit if had to pay three times the price for this level of performance i wouldnt think twice about it the sound stage is enormous in all directions sureal at times and frequency extremes well beyond anything ive heard pristine and clean the shades of bass is unbelieable, what perplexed me the most was its neutral cable transparent but has all of the warm analog sounding goodies like palable mids wooly guitars but at the same time remanining fast and dynamic,in closing i feel ive joined an exclusive club until word gets out about these cables they took my breath away.
I just spoke with Morrow and its not magnat wire.anti cables does use it.
hi from what i understand they are silver coated, and Morrow uses a smaller gauges to make up his cables, i am curiuos though how do you know its magnet wire this stuff is used for coils right?
It was a customer told me that. Perhaps I should have said.
I don't hear any mid range glare with my morrows
