Greetings all!
A couple months back, my wife and I decided to consolidate/streamline our audio/video equipment into just the living room (previously the audio stuff was in the adjacent family room for space constraints). I had been considering this for awhile, so when she brought it up I was ready :) So, out with the preamp/amp/phono stage separates and in with

A Rogue Audio Cronus Magnum integrated amp! (pic quality not the greatest - phone/lighting):

Warming up in preparation for biasing:
Needless to say, I'm looking forward to sitting down for a good listening session - my quick listen after biasing has me excited! It definitely appears to be more than capable of keeping my Maggie MGMC1s singing!
Happy listening all!

Follow Ups:
Should work quite nicely with your Maggies.
Congratulations, that is a great amp. I owned one for awhile. Why did I sell it? Because I am fickle and have to try something new every so often. This is one of those, I wish I hadn't sold it deals.....
Anything bad about this piece. Enjoy!

Rogue Audio makes very fine products that compete and better their rivals, such as ARC, on integrated amps. Happy Listening!
I had one for 1 1/2 years and loved it. I recently went back to separates and purchased a Rogue RP-5 all tube preamp. It is everything I wanted and more. Rogue is on of America's great audio companies. They make a great sounding and well built product at a reasonable price. Enjoy it, it's a keeper

If I hadn't crossed over to the Class A, zero negative feedback, and no output transformers (AtmaSphere) camp, I'd would be all over this integrated.

I've had mine for several years running KT120 tubes. It's a wonderful amp at a reasonable price. More expensive integrated amps have come and gone in my system including the ARC VSI-60 but the Rogue remains. It's a long term keeper.
Abe,
That's my plan - based on my track record, this will very likely be my last control/power piece of equipment. I did read your posts regarding your Cronus and I'm hoping to have similar feelings/impressions about mine.
Cheers.

I forgot to mention, there are speaker taps for 4 or 8 Ohm speakers. I moved mine to the 4 Ohm position and it made a very noticeable improvement with my system down in the basement with Thiel speakers. One pair of binding posts in the Rogue is easy to get to. The other is rather cramped but doable. Some folks complain that Rogue didn't include additional binding posts or a switch to select 4 Ohm or 8 Ohm but for most people it's not the sort of thing you are constantly going back and forth on. Set it and forget it.
Enjoy your new integrated!

...I knew that the Maggies are a nominal 4 ohm load so I switched the leads before i set it up. Yes, the one lead is harder than the other but definitely doable - my biggest concern was making sure nothing was touching something it shouldn't.
In this hobby, my friend, that is OUR biggest concern!
ENJOY your new amp and set-up.
Congrats!

Abe-
have you sold your older gear?
That's a tough question to answer! I've had a lot of older gear over the years. Here's what I still own:
Office Setup :
- Mac Mini & Roon to MyTek Stereo192 DSD DAC, Ayre AX-7e Integrated, Tannoy Definition D500 speakers.
Basement Setup :
- microRendu streamer running Roon to PS Audio NuWave DSD DAC, Rogue Cronus Magnum Integrated, Thiel CS2.4 speakers, PS Audio P300 AC power regenrator.
Common to both the office and basement :
- Music is stored on the Mac Mini in my office
- Music is controlled with the iPad Mini running the Roon app
I still own but am not using :
- Accuphase DP-65v CDP
- KAB modified Technics SL-1200mkII Turntable
- Benz Glider, Dynavector 17D3, Dynavector DV-20XH, Denon DL-103R
- PS Audio GCPH Phono preamp
- A couple headphones & the Schiit Asgard 2 headphone amp
Just got the Cronus Magnum II last week. It's a great piece of gear.
