I posted an update on the hum that I believe is coming from my Project Phono Box. Long story short, replaced caps and that did not cure the problem. Could this be coming from a bad power supply? It is a very inexpensive. Thanks for the help.

Well I got the new power supply in the mail. It appears to be better built and of a higher quality then the one that came with the Phono Box.
It did not cure the hum. So far I have tried replacing the caps and this new power supply with no luck. If any one has other suggestions that would be good but I am about to throw in the towel. I have spent about 25$ so far on trying to fix the Phono Box and I only paid 50$ (used) for it.

Does it still hum?
Thanks for the reply! Yes it still hums with the phono unhooked. The hum does decrease a little but still there. When you unplug the power to the phono amp the hum is gone. I think I am going to try a new power supply. What do you think?

Wiring issues can cause hum too- but I assume you've not opened the unit up?
If the hum is in both channels replacing the supply (or sorting out what is wrong with the old one) seems a good path.
