Just purchased a used Kenwood KA-405. Anyone know if this can be hooked into a power amplifier to add more WPC? Thanks.
Follow Ups:
Years ago, I had a Kenwood KA-7100.
When I bought an amp, I coudn't afford a preamp at that time, but I had already cracked the case and saw where the PRE jumpered over to the MAIN amp internally.
Snip-Snip followed by solder-solder and I had a preamp.
My Kenwood used some wire wrap and soldering was nasty, but it worked.
OH! The amp is STILL in use today. My nephew uses it for a Guitar Amp!
Too much is never enough
thanks
You need preamp outputs to hook up an external amp to do that. Does that amp have them? If it does you can.
