I'm getting a pair of salon 2s. I have a krell s300i now I'm looking to upgrade. I was thinking krell maybe the new duo 300 or evo 302e? Any thoughts?

Used a Proceed Amp2 with his Revels. And I have to admit it sounded very, very good!

Two or three years ago, there was a studio-based review of the Revel Salon 2 in Pro Audio Review. The reviewer listed the amp he was using.
A couple of Google searches will probably get you there.

My friend has Salon 2 and his Levinson 532H sounds good with them. Although I favor the older Levinson a bit more like the 432. I've owned Krell and heard a lot of it, my personal preference leans toward the Levinson. FWIW, I have F52's and love them with my Pass Labs X250. You are on the right track though in wanting a quality, and high power, amp the Salons are great speakers.
I ordered the krell duo 300. It's supposed to be class A without all the heat.
Cool. I'm not yet familiar with the Duo, I'll check them out and be sure to let us know how the combo works out.
Right now I'm using the Krell Evolution 402 power amp and Krell Evolution 202 pre amp that are connected together via CAST. And you're right the older Evolution power amp does generate a lot of heat, but it is no more than my previous power amp, which was an Audio Research D-250 tube amp.

My friend uses the 220 wpc hybrid Lamm M2.2 monoblocks with his Salon 2 speakers.
I use the Lamm M2.1 monoblocks with my EgglestonWorks Andra 2 speakers and they sound great. (And they worked well with the original Studios that I used to own). They add a nice touch of tube sound to the music.
My two cents worth.
Here's a thought. This may not be an option, but to look at other int-amps at and around the level of the Krell. You may find that you like the signature of another companies amp better. In doing direct comparison you can then go up in whatever manufactures product line you liked best.
