I've had this Sound Quest SQ84V2 for awhile. It's a 15wpc tube integrated that is often used as a dedicated headphone amp.
I'm using mine to run Sennheiser HD800's and the combination is quite special.
I recently put it in my main system driving my Harbeth P3ESR's. I'm using my Rogue Perseus pre-amp, so the Sound Quest is just being used as a power amp.
Yeah, 15 wpc. Not tons of volume, and it won't turn your listening room into a Black Sabbath concert. But within reasonable limits the sound quality on this thing is amazing. It's my new favorite amp. I listen to a lot of classical guitar and string quartets and this really puts me in the room with the performer.
Stephen at Sound Quest tells me they are working on a 'power amp only' version of this for later this year. Can't wait to see/hear what they come up with.

(mass loading or guard) as well.
I'm assuming that's extra (plus food, aqua, kitty litter and assorted toys)?
I'm going to read up on the Sound Quest stuff.

I bought this to run my headphones.
I've read it is particularly good with Quad esl's (57's). I have a pair getting here this week, so I put it in my main system. I just cannot get over what a good match it is with my Harbeths.
It's always been my experience that Harbeth liked SS gear, and pretty beefy at that. But I've never heard my P3ESR's sound better.
Stephen Monte at Quest for Sound is probably my favorite guy in hi-fi to do business with. Really nice, down to earth and takes good care of his customers.

and still own all the components which are in good working order. That must have been 10 years ago or so. He recently decided to go with a little more mainstream manufacturer and is carrying Kefs. I saw them 2 weeks ago, he had the Blades and down the line. I still think he excells with small tube gear like your SoundQuest, and other unusual lines. A Good Guy!

I've wanted a pair of Wayne Picquet Quads FOREVER.
Found a pair in decent shape on Ebay for just a little more than they were worth. (As opposed to a lot more than they're worth, which is common).
Send them direct to Wayne in Florida for what he calls the 'fully monty'.
Come Wednesday I'll be standing on the sidewalk waiting for FEDEX.
Look for pics in the planar asylum later this week.
