After researching replacement parts for the OEM circuitry in my Dynakit PAS-3X preamp from Mouser Electronics, I decided to just get new circuit board kits (fiberglass type boards) from Tubes for HiFi (Roy Motram's company) along with new volume and balance controls which will be ALPS Blue Velvet types. This will provide metal film resistors along with polypropylene capacitors. The circuit board kits are within less than $20 of what it would cost just for resistors and capacitors from Mouser to upgrade existing circuit boards. Later on I will get the regulated power supply kit and the replacement input/output RCA jack field.
After nearly 50 years the circuitry is tired and has some intermittent noise and other issues.

Follow Ups:
As a follow-up, I found the new circuit boards and parts to be of very good quality. They went together with no problems. Installation was also easy as I labled all disconnected wires.
During installation I discovered that the 10 ohm resistors on the input jacks had been blown nearly apart from a lightning strike we had April last year - hidden damage. Replacing the resistors did eliminate some hum issues on certain inputs.
