so far. Replaced a NAD receiver with an Emotiva processor and five channel amp back in May. Haven't experienced any problems, but have needed to update the firmware on the processor for some initially flaky operation.
Performance is really very good. While the amp doesn't have the last word in top end performance, it is neutral in character. Build quality is high consumer grade which fares well for the modest pricing. A genuine kilowatt AB amp for a grand is a pretty good deal.

Did you replace a NAD AVR with the Emotiva pre/amp combo?
You were not very clear on the comparison. Is the sound similar between the NAD and Emotiva? Or how do they differ? Thanks.
Mike
The NAD T763 now does duty in the bedroom.
The comparison is somewhat unfair since the XPA-5 has double the power and is more dynamic. It also has a bit more midrange clarity.
Power aside, at similar volumes, is midrange clarity the main improvement?

I have never ever seen E-Stat give a thumbs up unless something is a good product. Your query may have helped me with a buddy's search for a good 3 channel amp at a reasonable cost.

Mike, please come back and let us know what you ended up choosing and if it did or did not fit your needs.
I had their XDA-1 dac for about 6 months in my system. I found it very musical and the build quality was quite high. I only sold it to move into the Wyred dac at over 3 times the price. Lots of bang for the buck.
I throw my windows open wide and call to you across the sky.
I love my ERC-1. I won't be changing that for a good long time.
