the opposite of 'transparent' -- all too obvious that one was listening to a pair of speakers.
There were a few execptions, but just a handful (again, and of course, IMO).
In fact, the "Mach Two" with a cone MR and a very different horn tweeter was a considerably better sounding speaker (IM... you know...) than the One.
... and R/S definitely sold some better than average drivers for (when on special or on closeout) good to very good prices.
