If you can use the 16' side as the room length, I would say they should. Just keep them 4' out from the front wall and sit about 8' away. That leaves 4' behind you.

You don't have to worry about them being too close to the side walls, as long as they are 6" away they should be fine. But they will be rather close together (@6') than ideal but still fine.
