"67 GMC long box van with a new body job (done by a friend in the business)with a bad clutch (which I knew about) and a soft motor, (which I didn't.)
Interestingly enough I bought a '69 Pontiac 'Chief sight unseen for $50 at a wedding so I could put the motor (a small block 350) in the van. The guy I bought it off had loaned it to his son, who had put 300 horse heads and a dual 4bbl intake on it. His son put the original manifold back on, but not the stock heads. It safetied with a $10 tail pipe and I put the van up on blocks and drove the 'Chief for 7 years.
