Garage sale finds

Posted by Tadlo on July 2, 2012 at 05:18:53:

These are not really vintage finds, unless your criterion for vintage is anything that is old enough to appear at a garage sale. But they are such spectacular deals that I wanted to report in the only forum that really cares about garage sales. After a two year drought, this is what turned up in the last two weeks:
Onkyo TX-SR601, $35
Yamaha RX-V2300, $50
Paradigm Reference Studio 60v2, $60

For a total of $145 this is gear less than a decade old that originally had list prices totaling about $2500. To complete the system I add a Sony ES CD player that I got for $10 two years ago. Hi Fi for a little over a C-note!
