if they did, indeed, sell products in the US, then those would certainly have to have been set up for US AC line voltages. One other thing to think about here, though, is that back then typical AC line voltages ran about 110VAC or so whereas today this is normally up at 120-125VAC. Given their age, I'd certainly want to ensure that the electronics inside an old table radio is up to par before operating it.
