I must say also that the StillPoints Ultra SSs and now the even better Ultra Fives have just turned off any further interest in lessor devices.

I was referring to the designers mindless quest not ours. I still have three brass, one inch high tiptoes which have three tiptoes on one side and one up. I have never seen them for sales in the ten years since I bought these. They were clearly better than the aluminum Tiptoes.
