Where do I put it?

I am building my first LCL filament supply for a DHT tube.
Due to the tube I am using I will need to use a dropping resistor
to get the voltage down to spec.

My question is, where is the best place to put the resistor?

Before the LCL after the LCL or somewhere inside the LCL?
