Fritz Rev 5 or Carbon 7

Posted by DAVID on June 10, 2012 at 16:16:08:

I've tried doing a search in various places but have not found any info on the difference in sound between these two speakers. I know the 7s will go lower but what else is different? Is the treble a bit less extended in the 7s and are they a little warmer than the Rev 5s? Can anyone give details on the sound and differences?

My room is odd:
9 by 13 and the ceiling is 18ft high.

System:
McCormack DNA 1 Rev. A
Eastern Electric Minimax DAC (first one)
B&W 802s (circa 1981)
VMPS Smaller Subwoofer...both are driven by my McCormack

Thanks.
