Chieftains - Voice of Ages DVD is fun

Posted by mcondo on March 9, 2012 at 05:55:50:

The DVD included in the new Chieftains cd Voice of Ages is a "making of" type video. I watched last night with the wife and i must say, I rarely see such happy performers as those on this album. I would recommend it highly - there are full performances of many of the songs and seeing the recording process should be of interest to inmates with the dreaded "TV" in their system. It seems to me like the Chieftains were teaching the youngsters how to record and play. Sound is very good imo, and I only have a Sony Bvp 580 for video - the Oppo crowd should get even better results.

Great performances. Highly recommended.
