As for Chinese amps, I'm familiar with and have had "Prima Luna's ProLogue Two Integrated amp" & DiaLogue Two, (when I had them back in 2002/2004 they were much less expensive than they are now). Also, Jolida 1501 RC (about $850 US), which I'm using now.

IMHO - "one reporters opinion" my Jolida 1501 RC is roughly 80% less the cost of the VAC Super Avatar I had (and LOVED), and offers about 70% to 80% the sound of the VAC. Because of the Jolida's strong power, musicality, I'm real happy with it and really enjoy it!

In closing, if I had the money I'd be looking again at VAC or Vincent, but in the meantime I am very, very pleased with the Jolida, but that's just me.
