No ... I think that's because most Naim owners are brainwashed members of the "Linn/Naim" cult! :-)) (This only "allows" certain combinations of gear!! :-)) )

My 2 x (old) Naim 250s drove my IIIAs very well in the passive setup and then I bought a Naim 180 (160?) for the ribbons, when I went 3-way active.

However, in a direct comparison of one of my Naim 250s with an AKSA, the AKSA proved to be the better-sounding amp ... so I built 3 AKSAs. The money I got for my Naim gear paid for the AKSAs!! :-))
