RE: Question for Tekton Design speaker owners

Posted by Morganc on May 16, 2012 at 23:09:18:

I have a pair of the Pendragons and am running at the moment a Don Allen 45 and it sounds fabulous in a large room. No distortion at all and the imaging and sound stage and tonality is really nice. Huge soundstage and real live like qualities. I have had the Lores also and in a small room or nearfield they would be perfect for your needs and would sound great with a low wattage amp.

Another good low watt amp to consider would be the Decware Mini torii or the new Decware SE 34.3. The Mini torii is quite nice and I soon will have the new 34.3 also. The Mini torii is amazingly accurate with tone and timbre and I found it very similar to the Don Allen 45, but with a few extra watts.

Good luck on your decision.
