I really think that SACD and DVD-A are going to be pointless in a few years. As broadband increases, and storage and memory prices keep coming down in price, the whole medium for sound will change. Where the market goes, so too will follow Hi-Rez.
I think the whole DSD PCM debate is stupid. Each has its strengths and weaknesses. In the right hands a rcording can sound excellent, even on redbook.
