On a comparsions with most other western countries your wealthy pay very low taxes

Hence the ongoing debate in your country about that very subject, Warren Buffet stating that he paid less taxes than his secretary was a a fairly public example.

I'm no sonny, learn to mind your manners, mate. Your contempt for others in your original post just stank. That is why I gave you a serve.

A fair assessment made by Americans shows that your middle class have not had any real increase in disposable income for a long time. Is that good or sustainable policy?

There are lots of poor people in your country, so stealing not a lot from each of them, or from the middle classes is an easy way to make money. Trickle down wasn't just a lie and a scam it didn't even work.

I didn't use strawmen, you'd have to be deaf, dumb and blind to deny the damage greedy people have done to the world's wealth in the last decade. Were any of the Enron execs severely punished? Were Dubbya's links to them ever really explored? Are the inter-bank rate scam people going to gaol? You might have your head in the sand, but I don't.

Further, I have spent a good deal of my working life ensuring that business in Australia has a fair go and is competitive. So don't go telling me that I'm picking on business ethics unfairly.

Next you'll tell me that FOX is a GREAT and wonderful corporation, and that Rupert and James just didn't know about phone tapping. Rupert is a worse edition than his father was, an anti-Semitic megalomaniac arsehole, but Rupert has managed to top that.
