Are we an elite group

I was having a discussion with a friend of mine tonight and he said I was a member of an elite group. He went on to say that owning a high end stereo Was very rare and it put me In a very elite group. I never looked at it that way but I guess he has a point. I wonder how many high end systems are there in the United States? When I say high end I am talking about systems that retail for 25k and above.
