RE: Slime Ball at audiogon.

Pete...For the most part I agree with you. I have never bought anything on audiogon for those same reasons as you listed and then some. I am very happy the seller did decide to return my money. But as a first time buyer on audiogon after browsing there for many a years, and knowing all the ripping off...and as of late, the turn for the worse at audiogon, And after all that, this being my first purchase attempt and having that gone wrong....I can assure you I will never complain about audiogon any more, because I will never attempt to buy anything from audiogon again. But I do feel like I got ripped off. You see after the sell, I communicated with the seller through email. He told me he would ship out the item in two days through FEDX. He acknowledge that he had my money, and told me the reasons he sold it to me after purchasing it 4 months earlier brand new in the box from his dealer. I was the legal owner of that product and he treated me as such after the sell. Then he sent that email the next day, which I am including here for all too read. While he does not seem like one to keep another persons money, I still feel like I was cheated and told him so. The following is his last email to me, to which I responded to three times and he never responded.

:>>>>>>> Byron,

The dealer who sold the Rogue Stealth to me saw my ad and called to remind me that it is still worth $895 trade in with him for another several months. Since he has the better preamps I would be considering, logic says I hang on to it and use it for the higher trade in value when I am ready.

Sorry to disappoint but I have to go with the better option. I'll be refunding your money through PayPal immediately.

But its ok know, I have moved on.
