The DQLP-1 I have is really tweaked out too. I suppose with the right speakers (Dahlquist, Maggies) the crossover may be just fine, what I should have done was qualify my opinion more. With my TAD drivers I find the Marchand to work better, they are very revealing of the gear in front of them. I did find the DQLP1 to sound much better than either a single Hovland or Oil in paper cap between the amp and the compression driver at the same crossover point and slope. Biamping IMO is purer.
