April 2003 - Comparison of phono stages at Greg P's home in Bellerose, Queens.

March 2003 - Demonstrated the effects of “Tube Rolling”, changing various amplifer & pre-amplifier tubes (output, driver, rectifier) and determining the sonic effects. John Wiesner 2A3/ 45 SET amps as well as a Loesch & Wiesner 417A all tube preamplifier were demonstrated driven into vintage Klipschorns with SACD/CD and vinyl sources at Triode Pete's home in Massapequa.

February 2003 - A synergystic system was demonstrated including Snell B-minor speakers, matching Sonic Frontiers preamp (SFL-1) & amp (Anthem 2-SE) as well as a Parasound transport & McCormack DAC at Tom
M's home in Queens Village, Queens.

January 2003 - The new, efficient Omega single driver speakers were demonstrated by the manufacturer using a variety of amplifiers. Also, the new Reference 3A DeCapo's were demonstrated.

December 2002 - A holiday gathering for club members at Bob M's home in Freeport, Long Island demonstrating the host's DIY 3-way speaker system featuring Focal drivers.

November 2002 - A interesting blind listening test & evaluation of some extremely low-priced hi-fi gear synergistically put together by Jim M in Seaford, Long Island.

We compared live acoustic guitar with both the analog recording (2", 30ips tape) and digital recording (ProTools software) playback as well as numerous discussions about the recording industry.
