I can not recommend Ashampoo

Posted by Tony Lauck on March 12, 2011 at 08:29:11:

I can not recommend Ashampoo or any of their products. They are spamming, greedy bastards.

I downloaded and installed the Burning Studio 10 on February 21 as part of their "free trial". Since that time I have received 18 emails from them. The software installed "community toolbars" in Firefox and Internet Explorer. I don't know what else the software did. About the only good thing I can say is that the uninstall program "appeared" to work.

I burned one DvD which appeared to work. But I'm not going to put up with SPAM, Adware, and who knows what else. These people are completely unethical, IMO.
