Precision Fidelity M7A V+ problem

Posted by tedroy on February 28, 2012 at 05:22:19:

Gentlemen, looking for some help in figuring out the cause of V+ at 618 volts, when it should be at 550 volts. This has taken out screen grid resistor and 90.9 k resistor at collector of TIP 50. I am working with a partial schematic for this amplifier, and would appreciate getting the full schematic if possible. I have taken this amp to a tech, but the problem has reoccured;including run-away bias, so I'll like to work on it myself with some help this time.
