Is it just me, or does the "best cartridge ever!!!" in the Audiogon MM thread change every week???

I had been following it a bit and re-discovered it while researching the Garrott P77i. I have no idea who Raul Iruegas is but his system is impressive, so maybe I should pay more attention.

All I do know is scanning through a handful of the 1700+ postings, it seems the "best cart ever created" tag has been attached to numerous cartridges. When I first started looking it was an Ortofon, then an Empire, a Nagaoka, etc. etc. etc. and now it's an Arzden which has been crowned "the best quality performance cartridge ever made!!!!!"

Not sure what to make of it all, honestly.

I finally gave up on making heads or tails out of the thread and just ordered a P77i from Australia based on input from some listeners I trust - should be here in a week.
