Mercury PERFECT PRESENCE SOUND STEREO LPs...

Here's a classic, amazing, mass produced label that sounds as good or better, than many audiophile-quality 180 grm. modern albums -- Mercury Perfect Presence Sound STEREO albums! Originally recorded on 35mm magnetic film as stated on the LP jacket...

Found a MINT copy of:
*DAVID CARROLL and his Orchestra -- "All The World Dances" C. 1961
Mercury Perfect Presence Sound STEREO #PPS-6022

This LP, the sound quality, the clarity, the depth and precision as heard on my stereo absolutely floored me! Great stuff, and I will always snag anything I can find on this label. Oh, I have several LPs from Mercury, but these specialized records from them is very good. You can just tell they took pride in their product, as the competition was very strong back in the early 60s, from the other labels. The liner notes, and inside the gatefold jacket, a wealth of information for the listener.

Anyone else a fan of this series, and if so, what artists and titles do have in your collection from Mercury's PPPS series?
