Koetsu MC or AN IQ3 MM on a Rega P5

My system:

Rega P5 (RB700)
Audionote Integrated Meishu Phono (built in MM phono)
Audionote Espe (speakers)

I have an Audio note S2 stepup ready for a move to MC cartridges. My local dealer speaks very highly of the Koetsu/Meishu combo, and all I've read about the Koetsu leads me to believe it's just what I'm looking for. (I'm looking for music, not highly detailed high end)

My options are:

Sell S2 Step up for $400, buy ANIQ3 for $800 ($400 out of pocket)

Buy Koetsu black $1500 (More than I'd like to spend unless the difference is great)

Is the RegaP5 worthy of a Koetsu Black or am I better off keeping it cheap? I may upgrade my TT eventually, but may need to stay with the Rega for a while.

Thanks Drcope for the great advice a few days ago. (I really appreciate your help)
