AVID, . . no US Distributor?

Hi all -

Noticed Music Direct seems to have all Avid TTs and phono preamps on discount - I believe Music Direct (or a related company) is the US distributor for Avid.

Also noticed Avid's website lists no US Distributor / Points of Sale.

Any thoughts on this?
