Hi all,
I'm holed in the Pacific NW waiting for the Storm of the Century to hit. Unfortunately, I just noticed that the cantilever on the record player here is badly bent, like curved at a 45 degree angle. There's really no way for me to go get it fixed without risking grave bodily harm. It's not my place and not my records. Can I in good conscience play this thing for a day or two?
Oh, and to make things more complicated, person I'm with is having some health issues and needs attention. Don't want to make their life any more complicated by bringing this up.
Again, I'll deal with this in a day or two, just need to know that it's not the end of the world to use it for the time being. Sound is okay but man is the visual gnarly.
Best,
WJ
