I was somewhat in the market for a new turntable..

A local dealer had a turntable he just had to show me..
It was handmade. all thick plexiglass. With a real ball bearing (yes the kind on your car) platter bearing.
The separate huge 'dust cover' was also made of the same inch thick plexiglass, and weighed at lest twenty pounds all by itself.

He felt it was the 'best turntable ever made' and was offered $10,000 for it at a show years ago, but he turned them down. But he would sell it to ME for $1,500.

I backed slowly away...

Later I bought a used Kuzma Stabi Stog S.. someplace else.
