Bought this nice *looking* vintage Signet TK3Ea, got it installed and aligned, then heard horrible scraping noise in one channel. Sumthin's wrong...

Pulled out my cr*ppy microscope and it looked like there was a teeny, tiny crimp in the cantilever tube. This is the way it looks after I brushed it ever-so-lightly.

I am considering an A-T 140LC Modified Shibata for a replacement, if it fits. Going on a 30-ish year-old memory, these were pretty sweet sounding cartridges. Lively but not too bright and it seems a good match for my TT.
