Based on what I read while it was in development, I was eager to see the series. I really tried to like it. After the first episode, I hoped maybe it would get better. I hoped like that through 2 mode episodes. Then I quit. The plot, the scripting/dialog, and the filming/direction were all just completely cringe-worthy. There wasn't even a subplot to keep me coming back.
HBO won big with GoT. They struck out with Vinyl. Better luck next time.
