Hi all,
I am wondering whether the AT33MONO is a decent match for my Grace tonearm. Which model Grace tonearm? - you ask. Well, I wish I could tell you. I can't identify it positively. it is not a perfect match for any listed on the Vinyl Engine database, or for any image I can manage to call up on the web! It looks most like a G727 or G747, but does not have a removable head shell. Indeed, the head shell distinguishes it from all the other Grace tonearms I can find pics of. Maybe someone can identify it for me?
In any event, it is clearly in the 707-727-747 family, and thus super light and designed for high compliance carts. It currently rocks a Shure M97eraIV, as the second tonearm on my giant Lenco. But I want to dedicate it to mono.
The AT33MONO is 20x10 -6cm/dyne static and 6x10 -6cm/dyne dynamic in compliance.
Is that a viable match, or am I going to have to buy another tonearm??
Thanks!
